When it comes to choosing the window blind that gives better look and light control, you also have to consider the shape of the slat more than its width. Window blinds come in various slat shapes.
Large window are some of the hardest to cover effectively. If you choose a slat size that is too small, it can look chaotic and too busy. Another problem those with larger windows run into is the heaviness of the blinds. Blinds that are too heavy can begin to bow or even break under the strain. The perfect solution for this is to use multiple blinds on one headrail. This will alleviate the excessive weight and still give you a great looking window covering.
All blinds offer different slat sizes. Slats are the horizontal pieces that you tilt, raise, and lower when operating your blinds. The difference in slat sizes may not seem like a lot, but the right, or even the wrong, slat size can make a world of difference for your windows. Do not leave it up to chance. Instead, you simply have to learn which sizes will work best for each window of your home.
